"Awesome-Spectacular-Adventurous"

Every single thing about this property was spectacular. From the room to the view from the room, from the food to the way it was served, from the cleanliness to the hospitality-everything was top-notch. Uncle and Aunty were the sweetest hosts. I’m glad I chose Hermit Retreat for my stay during my visit to Darjeeling after 25 years. There are quite a few stairs from the main road to reach the property, but that only added to the adventure. I would highly recommend this place for your stay and would love to visit again. 🥰

Rooms and staff behaviour

No transportation from hotel. You will have to spend 1k just to go 2 kms that too u will not find any cabs kr transport

"A great choice at a great location and price."

The atmosphere, the standard of the accommodations and services, and the host's friendliness were all very appealing to us.

The complimentary breakfast was not that good. We had Chole-Puri. Puri was fully made up of maida. Also, the quality of tea and coffee should be improved.
