Hotel el Escondite

Big room with AC. Fairly centrally located if you come by car or scooter.

There would be fights about the parking. The parking was so small and 2 monster trucks would take up all the space. Sometimes I would have to park in the street and on one occation another guest knocked at my door and asked for me to move my car (the parking is built so 2 cars will block the other 2 cars from exiting). So you had to always move your vehicles around when someone wanted in or out. The parking was a hassle honestly but everything else was great. If you come by scooter you should be fine...

The place was pretty clean

It was very basic, the internet was very bad. It didn't work in the room at all and outside it worked sometimes with a very low signal

They have an air conditioner didn't expect that!

Nice and easy going staff and a good location

I specifically choose this hotel because it was close to bus station, so for me location made sense, but beach is very fur from it, at least 30 min by foot. Room was clean, comfortable bed, friendly staff.

Noisy at night, because of dogs. No sink in kitchen. Far from beach.

the owner was great and meeting other solo travelers
