Hotel el Escondite

I dont recommend it as it is literally in the slums. The price these people are charging in dominican republic is not worth it

Dont have hot water

The place looks exact like on the pictures, it s clean, airco and van, good attencion from the staff, you can use the kitchen fridge and plates etc, but not for cook a meal, but you can make a salad, toast bread for example. You can take water and coffee, get your clothes washed. It is a little bit of a walk to the beach but i didn t mind walking it once a day and the other time i grab a motor taxi who are every where to be found. The neighbourhood felt safe

The room was very nice and clean with refreshing air-conditioner. The location was a bit away from the noisy streets, which we liked, and still easy to find and reach. The parking space was small but all manageable. The owner was very kind and communicative, he adapted to our time too. Will recommend.

- I needed to wait a long to for a host to come and to make check-in - wi-fi was not so strong

The owner, Gerson, was excellent when unfortunately on the first night the electricity went out due to some kind of fault and without power and no air-conditioning it was impossible to sleep in the melting heat. He felt very apologetic for a fault that really wasn't his and the following day he returned all the money I paid for the 2 nights stay I was suppose to have there. This is very good customer services when something goes wrong! The price is very good for Las Terrenas if you don't mind a 20 minutes walk to the seafront where you have the beach and all the restaurants/nightlife

The room and the bathroom are tiny

I spent a week here! the place is Super quiet, the location is central in las Terrenas, the rooms are very clean and the staff super kind and helpful!

It was all good, for this price I could not ask for more!
