Great location to go hiking but also not far away from the centre. Just a couple steps away from a beautiful view of the mountains. We ate almost every meal when we stayed at Mellow because the food was the BEST food in our entire Sri Lanka trip (also the atmosphere was so relaxing). And the owner is so sweet and kind. The room itself was comfortable and had everything we needed. Highly recommended!

The place is amazing and very comfy. Soarna the host is so sweet and friendly, she helped make our stay amazing. She prepared for us delicious breakfast every morning, and the beds were so comfy and the rooms are so clean. Highly recommended.

Very friendly staff, possibility to wash clothes and cook with the host. Very clean and calm in the middle of the jungle but yet not too far from the main town - I really enjoyed my relaxing stay over there!

This place is great, very good location, and the host is an angel, the most kind person I met. Also I recommend to order breakfast - it is very good local breakfast. If I go to Ella again I will definitely stay here again.

Very friendly host, best breakfast we had up to now, very comfortable room and nice terrace for ourselves. Our host also helped us arrange a tuktuk to our next destination, which was helpful since pickme is not allowed in Ella.

Wouldn't change a thing

I miss this place! Swarna is such an amazing host, always smiling and ready to help. And oh, her food, her food... The portions are HUGE and everything is so incredibly tasty. Waking up was very easy with the prospect of such a breakfast! Also don't miss out on having dinner there at least once, it's equally delicious! The top floor room was spacious, well-equipped and very comfortable. The large balcony was perfect to relax and enjoy the view. The location is also perfect, away from the busy and loud main strip but still within 5-10 minutes walk. I seriously highly recommend this place for Ella and will definitely return!

It was a lovely stay! The host is so kind and friendly and makes such a delicious breakfast. Room and bathroom were very clean and comfy. Location is just perfect, away from the business of Ella but only 5-7 minutes away walking from the centre. I really enjoyed my stay and can highly recommend it!
