Freedom Home Stay

Die Familie ist sehr bemüht und kümmert sich toll um die Gäste. Vor der Tür hatten wir Sitzmöglichkeiten, was man bei dem günstigen Preis selten hat. Insgesamt das beste Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, was wir auf unserer Reise hatten. Über die Familie kann man auch TukTuk-Fahrten (z.B. zum Pidurangala) oder Safaris buchen - ohne dass sie dabei aufdringlich sind. Neben der Unterkunft befindet sich ein Restaurant, was ebenfalls zur Familie gehört - das Essen war sehr lecker, besonders das Curry können wir empfehlen.

Tutto, la stanza era amplia, pulita e aveva anche un giardinetto molto comodo e rilassante. Le ragazze molto gentili, disponibili, ci hanno anche fornito delle sedie in più per appoggiare i bagagli. Colazione buonissima! Inoltre la struttura era attaccata a una via ricca di servizi raggiungibili anche a piedi.

The breakfast was excellent, tasted very good, lots to eat, and a new breakfast experience for us tasting Sri Lankin foods we have never tasted before. The Lady that runs the homestay is very caring and a very nice person, family are good people and we had a problem with wi fi at beginning and it was fixed immediately. Comfortable stay, very clean, quiet, bathroom warm water and good pressure, great value, nice surroundings, near restaurants and restaurant attached to property with excellent food, near tourist sites, Thankyou to owners.

Everything was great, recommend the homestay and restaurant (Hot Food).

Camera pulita, verandina fuori perfetta, colazione ottima inclusa. Abbiamo anche mangiato nel loro ristorante di fronte ed era tutto buonissimo, con un eccezionale rapporto qualità-prezzo! Abbiamo sfruttato anche il loro tuk tuk per l’alba a Pirindula Rock e il safari al Minneriya National Park, è andato tutto bene, puntuali e ben organizzati. Grazie!

The guest house is simple and family-run. My room was very spacious, with a large and comfortable bed. Beautiful porch surrounded by greenery! As for the location, it’s on a side street off the main road, just a 10-minute walk from the entrance to the Sigiriya archaeological site. The owners were incredibly kind—they took me to see the sunrise in their tuk-tuk and have a great restaurant right next door! Highly recommended!
