Light house beach home

It’s a lovely and unique place to stay. The family is nice and helps with everything, even cooks for you. Rooms are perfect and clean, breakfast was very good

We stayed here a few years ago, and they have been busy improving the property since then. It's right on a little bay that is really popular with the locals, and an elephant dropped by in the morning on it's way to the local temple. It's great to see a family business doing well :)

I wish we'd stayed another night.

Wonderful stay. Beautiful location in a small bay with a very lovely family. We loved the friendliness of the family and they really do look after their guests . We will stay again.

Everything was great

The breakfast was marvellous (fresh fruits, Omelette, Hoppers, Mango Juice and these pancakes with coconut filling), also loved their Roti with Dhal and the Rice & Curry. The family is very friendly and greets you with a fresh mango Juice :) also, doing laundry was possible.

Great place for relaxing days. The family is very friendly and helpful. We had a cooking class, which we enjoyed very much, also the food itself is amazing.

Just beside the beach and lighthouse.

This was hands down the best place we stayed in Sri Lanka during our 10 day trip around the island. THE most stunning location. Wonderful hosts, who have the perfect balance of friendly and attentive but leaving us space. We ate an evening meal cooked at the property and it really was beyond our expectations. Breakfast was also delicious and plentiful. I really wish we could've stayed for a few nights. Actually I really wish I could just live there forever! - paradise :)

Magic magic magic magic magic. It wasn’t just the idyllic place, setting, and beautiful food (e.g. lobsters kept in the ocean below your feet, only removed when time to cook…with the most incredible family sauce)..it was also the kind, modest and epically friendly hosts..always on hand for a chat, but so calm and also fun. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

The most amazing place we have ever stayed. So peaceful, nature is all around and so many cool animals. The owner and his whole family is so sweet and helpfull. The room was spotless clean and very comfortable. Also you must try the fruit shakes- amazing! Thank you for everything!

Beautiful location near the beach, awesome people, very good atmosphere. Too bad I couldn't stay longer. I will come back and stay one week next time. There's also this juice bar right next to the homestay. It's lovely! You cannot find a better place in the area.
