Great location (quiet and calm) literally by the beach. Very comfortable bed. 1min walk to the lighthouse ; you'll fall asleep listening to the sound of the ocean. Food and drinks available. Very friendly hosts, family run business. Myself and other guests got invited to the birthday party of the host's little son, there was a very friendly and family-like atmosphere

You'll find cleaner and bigger beaches elsewhere (but living next to them means noise hence I prefer to take a tuck tuck from this amazing location) The room is small but the common area is amazing so you will end up sitting in the water, in a hammock or on the beach so that wasn't really a problem as I only slept there

Very very nice and helpful owner who helped us with the visit at the doctor and even when we left he was helping us with the car transfers. The place is let's say at the end of the world, very quiet with sitting place above the sea. Also the kitchen was good and tasty! The owner's family live next door, so it makes very friendly atmosphere. Thanks a lot for our stay!

Lovely bed and breakfast at Dondra Head - the southernmost point of Sri Lanka. Great family running the business. Room spacious and clean, WiFi fast and probably I have had in Sri Lanka, breakfast good and varied, including freshly squeezed juices every morning. Located literally next to Dondra Lighthouse, so very special location among the palm trees. Very local vibe. I also ate dinner here - super fresh lobster was awesome. Tons of green parrots live in the palm trees and make for a fun viewing experience also. I would come back and stay here again.

No complaints about accommodation itself whatsoever. The beach is literally in front of accommodation so visible from the breakfast area. Local women, but also some men, dress conservatively, so I did not go to the beach because I would have been the only foreigner in a bikini. I don't think the locals would mind - everybody was very friendly - but just something to consider for solo female travelers. Now, I knew this in advance, because I read all the reviews and checked out the details, and it did not affect my stay at all - I was at a beach location before and after Matara, so I was fine just chilling here in the hammocks and sightseeing.

This is a lovely little place right next to the water and the lighthouse. It has its own restaurant and the room was very nice and clean. Would recommend

What a nice place close to the lighthouse. Definitely recommended: clean, lovely hosts, delicious rice&curry, close to the beach, next to a really nice juice bar perfect to chill all day long, within walking distance to town.

Excellent location right on the beach. Very large excellent breakfast - dinner was good too. Owner was very friendly/helpful.
