Helen,die Inhaberin bemüht sich sehr den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten.Morgens gibt es ein gutes Frühstück und Abends kocht sie etwas nach Wunsch. Sehr familiäre Atmosphäre.

Not for people who want luxury mod cons, or who don’t wish to mingle or connect with other travellers.

Helen is an incredibly friendly, inspirational and generous host, and we immensely enjoyed her hospitality and chatting with her. A lot of love has gone into the lodge, and it provides a wonderful experience of a stay in the mountains. The views are to die for, the night sky is incredible, and it is so peaceful. The large bed is super comfy. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

Amazing view with very idyllic surrounding. We also spent the evening speaking to the host and it was very interesting!

Our stay was beyond perfect. We only stayed for one night as it was a stop on our journey, but we wish we could have stayed a few more nights. The owner, Mrs. Helen, who lives on the property, was an excellent host. She was full of positive energy and prepared a perfect breakfast and a delicious chocolate cake for us. We spent the evening chatting with her and two other guests, and the whole atmosphere was wonderful. The property also has large windows with beautiful views of the surrounding landscape.

The host is awesome.

Prime location @ Arthur’s Pass, especially if you plan on going on the Bealey Spur Hike-it’s located right on the trailhead! I woke up with an amazing view without even leaving my bed <3 Helen is an amazing host! She is so kind and thoughtful. Breakfast was tasty.
