Kota's House Homestay

A peaceful place down a quiet alley away from the hustle and bustle but still close to the citadel and walking distance to local restaurants and markets. Hanh is the most gracious host and was happy to help us with transportation and recommendations. My kids particularly enjoyed playing with their super cute dogs. Everything was perfect!

Hanh is a cultured lady who is a classical musician. She's also caring, friendly and generous. This is a real homestay and I felt really at home here. When I was stuck at home during a thunderstorm, she and her husband even invited me to join them for dinner. The location is away from the tourist area and in an alley, which is very quiet.

Friendly and helpful hostess. Organized a local bike hire and recommended some local cafes and restaurants. The house and bedroom were very comfortable, quiet and we loved the private outdoor shower. The location provided easy access around the citadel area. Enjoyed our stay.

The hist was great and the room very clean.

Besides that I am no fan of air conditioning anyway and have become a light sleeper with the years, I found the airconditioning quite noisy and it took me one night tofigure out how to set a more silent airco.

Anh is adorable a we are very thankful for her kindness. I think that the homestay is perfect when you come as a couple or a family of 4.

We were a family of 5 and even if the second bed was a double bed our children had to sleep together. I didn’t know that at the reservation and children should be able to coop with this situation. However I would have appreciate to know it during the reservation because this may cause child conflicts during the night.

Really enjoyed our stay with Hanh - we would've stayed longer if we could have. She kindly sorted our room so it was ready when we arrived after our overnight bus. Facilities were all great.
