Kota's House Homestay

Lovely place that felt like home, in a nice local neighbourhood. Lovely host.

Hanh is the sweetest and loveliest host. She welcomed us to her home when we arrived and took the time to go through check in process. She even had a lovely tea ready for us as we have just arrived from Hai Van Pass over motorbike. Hanh herself is an extremely talented musician and has won awards at championships for Đàn tranh. She invited us to watch her practice at the imperial city which we did, and that was something special we wouldn’t have experienced otherwise. The room was comfortable with a private outdoor bathroom, AC, fan and we had free drinking water for our entire stay. Hanh also has a lovely little dog that we enjoyed patting during our stay. And to top it off, we couldn’t get a taxi to the train station due to a heavy thunderstorm. So she called everyone she knew and managed to get her neighbour, who is a taxi driver, to take us. Wish we could’ve stayed for longer. Hanh is amazing and we’re glad we got to spend the night in Hue at her lovely abode.

Host is amazing and very helpful. We arrived early to Hue after spending the night in a sleeping bus, and we were able to leave our bags and also took a shower way before check in time which was really nice. The bedroom is comfortable and clean, there is a kitchen you can use. It is a 20 minute walk to the citadel which for us was no problem, we enjoyed the neighborhood, it is away from the confusion and you can walk to the citadel and the other side of the river quite easily. We highly recommend

Very nice hosting family, the room was clean and and spacious. The bathroom is outdoors, which we liked very much. It is also very close to the main attractions in Hue.

It's an interesting homestay prepared with an art approach and nice taste of its host. Also the owner is really responsive and knows the cultural life of the city. District is calm and not very touristic, more authentic. Just half an hour walk from the citadel.

Well, a terrace shower might be surprising to someone. Also you should have (or ask the owner) for a power extender (cord) we found three sockets a bit far from table/ bed

My Hanh and her husband are such wonderful people. Their house was spotless clean. When we arrived she gave us a bigger room without us asking. The room had a balcony as well as a washing machine and a place to hang your washing. We had a wonderful stay. I would definitely recommend this place.I give it a 10!

There is nothing not to like!

I honestly couldn't recommend this gem enough! Its so close to the old town and the owner is a gorgeous human being who goes out of her way to help with anything and everything. She radiates warmth. The room is spotless and the bed super comfortable!
