Kota's House Homestay

A pleasant, clean room very close to the old palace. However, the best feature of this place is the hostess and her husband. While we were there, the town was inundated with severe flooding. The hostess did her utmost to ensure the extra 24 hours we had to stay trapped in the place without any power were as comfortable as possible. Therefore, she and their home are highly commended!

Wonderful host! We felt like being received as dear family members. The location is wonderful to explore the true local area. We had lots fun searching for fantastic street food and enjoying the local vibe. It's very near the citadel and we had a great day exploring it.

We loved staying at Kota’s home. The street was peaceful, her dogs are adorable and the ensuite was adorable! The bed was definitely firm, but I love a firm mattress! Kota and her family were very kind. Just by the house there is some nice local restaurants by the canal, they speak limited to no English but the food was great and it was cheap.

Kota's House is a true homestay and is very comfortable. There is a very calm and relaxed atmosphere from the moment you enter the front gate. The area seems to be an affluent suburb, with many beautiful houses tucked into the maze of alleys and Lane ways around the canal and moat of the ancient city. We throughly enjoyed our brief time at Kota's House and recommend you to stay there too.
