Sastra Ubud House

Great place to stay in ubud. Quiet and clean and the owner is very kind and friendly. Perfect position with a lot of market, small restaurants, laundry and just outside the gate a moped rental.

I chose this place because the location is excellent - quiet yet walking distance from the markets, great restaurants, etc. The room is basic, but it had everything I needed,. Even though it didn't have air conditioning, I didn't mind, because the fan is more than sufficient. I especially loved how there was hot water for tea everyday, I could use the kitchen if I needed and it had decent wifi (keeping in mind that wifi in Bali is not that reliable overall). The people are super friendly and smiley. I would totally recommend this place! It's great value for money!!

Really clean property. Tucked away with a really nice garden area. Staff super friendly & the breakfast was good. Really comfortable stay. Would recommend.

I like everything about this property. Location, cleanliness, staff, comfort… beautiful garden and nice people. Very good price. People wrote that there is mold in rooms but this is rainy season and very hard to maintain everything after 2 days of non stop raining and weeks in a row! This is by far the cleanest place we stayed in Bali! The garden looks simple but if you look at the details, you will see how beautifully they maintained the garden. Aldo very comfortable rooms with big bed. There is no aircon but not a problem at all, there is ceiling fan which works perfectly and even better for health. So I highly recommend this place!!
