We had a pleasant and peaceful time at this homestay. The lady of the house is an exquisite and kind person, lavishing lots of useful advice while always being polite and courteous. Definitely the best experience we have ever had at a homestay, and we have seen many! Suggested for those who want to have the experience full of charm and authenticity of an old house right in the center of Kandy

This guest house was such a cozy and authentic place! Beautifully, very authentically decorated, super clean, white linen, hot water in the shower - I couldnt expect more for my one night stay. It is in a very good place also - absolutely central, no climbing included, just a very short walk straight to the lake, temple, and cafes (Java lounge has a superb cooffee!). Also, I was absolutely impressed by the owner lady - such a beautiful, warm, aristocratic-like woman, offering me tea on arrival (its a real shame I didnt have time for it!). She spoke just perfect English and spread this amazing energy ❤️ All the best for you all!

The guest house is gorgeous, clean, breakfast was scrumptious. Ms Kumari runs a fabulous place that I would certainly recommend. Many thanks, we will return again soon.

All was excellent

The accommodation is in a great location, in the hustle and bustle of the city center. The hosts are very kind and helpful. Cozy, beautiful place. Wi-fi worked well.

Unfortunately, the floor was quite dirty, and the lack of air conditioning could be a bit uncomfortable on warmer nights.

The homestay is in an ancestral family home in the Kandy city center. Major attractions such as Kandy Lake, the Tooth Temple, and the Kandy dancing show are within 15-20 minutes walking distance. There are several amenities including grocery stores, restaurants, bakeries, and ATMs within a 5-minute walk. Our host was extremely kind and provided us with delicious Sri Lankan style home cooked breakfast and dinner on request. The room was basic but had everything we needed.

The rooms can be a bit loud as you can hear traffic and other guests if the windows are open.

Very friendly host an people. Very welcoming, fine breakfast. The house was very characteristic, host was happy to introduce her lineage.

Central Kandy near the temple of the tooth Kumari the owner is such a wonderful lady. So kind and attentive. Organizes everything for you and nothing was too much trouble
