We loved everything about this place! It’s a beautiful house with hundreds years of history, located in the city center. The owner is a very sweet lady with whom we had nice discussions over tea about her family history. It felt like a trip in time or like being in a movie :) I would love to come back and stay longer!!

"Small oasis close to city center"

Beautiful place, so peaceful 5 mn walk from city center and close to everything.The owner and all staff are so nice . It was a great please to spend a night in this wonderful 200 years house. Wisch we could have stay longer. Thanks again for sharing your home

I liked everything. I am so glad that I booked my accomodation at Kumari's place in Kandy. She is a very kind and welcoming lady who made my stay unforgettable in Kandy. The house is amazing, a 200 year old building, very close to the centre of the city. Breakfast and dinner was very delicious. I can not recommend this place enough for anyone who is planning to visit Kandy.

Kumari (host) has a lovely house, so homely with plants and stunning decor. We felt so at home here. Kumari and the two other ladies were so lovely and treated me and my friend like daughters. Kumari went beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. She even rang her herbal doctor to see me when I had stomach issues and sent us tea to our next accommodation in Ella when we told her how much we loved the tea she used. I can’t recommend Kumari’s house enough. We ate two breakfast and two dinners here and they were all wonderful. Thanks so much Kumari for such a memorable stay!

"Lovely place, fantastic host and fantastic food. The walk into the centre might not suit everybody."

Fantastic host. You must try the curry there. Bed was comfortable and I had a good night sleep. Lots of things in the property to look at.

15 min walk from town. Shower was small.
