An amazing stay with a lovely host! The ambiance was perfect, and the location is just a stone's throw from the city. We absolutely loved it!

Highly reccomend this guest house in Kandy! Kurami was so kind and we had the pleasure to talk a lot with her! She gave us all the advices we needed to enjoy Perehera as a real Sri Lankan, explaining us about the history of the fest! Dont miss the Kandy cultural dance show, Kurami will provide you for tickets! Her staff and her cat will welcome you with love and very good food for breakfast and lunch with also a delicious mint, fruits and nuts ice cream! Thank you so much, we loved this stay!

Beautiful warm welcome from Kumari & her lovely staff. We were immediately made to feel at home with tea & biscuits. She provided special fruits & items for our breakfast because she asked our children what they liked to eat. Kumari's kindness is so special, she helped us with transport when visiting sites around Kandy, arranged tickets to the Cultural Dance performance & helped us find a wood carving workshop that we had been looking for all through Sri Lanka. Her personal service is second to none - and her helpers are beautiful women too. The dinner & breakfasts we had at her guesthouse were delicious. The location is fabulous for walking to Kandy Lake and the city centre. We highly recommend Kumari's guesthouse - it was a joy to stay there - a really special time in our Sri Lankan holiday. And she has a beautiful garden - don't miss the opportunity to stay here!

Lovely guesthouse! Kumari and her assistents are attentive and made us feel very welcome. We got plenty of information and recommendations to make most of our short visit to Kandy. The house is very nice, and the location is ideal. The room is simple, but all you need.

This home is such an oasis. It’s beautiful inside and we enjoyed so much sitting amongst the plants with the pot of tea that our lovely hosts made for us on arrival. The room is basic but clean and everything worked perfectly fine. There is a large ceiling fan that kept us cool, though Kandy cools down plenty on its own. We got a delicious breakfast recommendation and were so taken care of even though the family was dealing with a sudden medical concern. Thank you so much!

There were mixed reviews on booking.com about noise from the street/train - we were in the room closest to the street. My partner is an extremely light sleeper and got a great sleep with ear plugs (as did I without)! Audible noise from cars starts around 6:30am but it’s not that loud and our view was that everywhere in Sri Lanka wakes up this early anyhow (we’ve been up around 7 daily). The train didn’t disturb us at all :)

A traditional Kandy House with small rooms but all comfortable and clean. The place is owned by an elder lady who is really sweet and can tell you all about the city. We loved the dinner at her Place and it is only a 15 min Walk to the Tooth Temple.

Central pension, you can very easily walk to the lake. Kumari was very nice. Everything was perfect.

This homestay has an unassuming street appearance outside but is a comfortable family gem inside. Wonderful host, elegant meals, lovely veranda outside of rooms. Good location for walking down to lake and city center. Wish I could have stayed longer.
