PRAKRITI HOMESTAY Fortkochi Air Conditioned Rooms

The property has rooms just right for 2 people for couple of days stay on the 1st floor which is accessible by stairs. Has a common dining area and small kitchen for making coffee which is very clean. You can pre-order breakfast for a fee to have a homely and tasty local food (we did order for one day , coffee could have been better with little more quantity though as it was really tasty local food!!) We were allowed for an early check in and late check out is possible if available. And we are so grateful for that. But unfortunately there was some construction going on and couldn’t use the time for taking rest. Walls are quite thin and you will wake up if someone talks in the common dining area. Kitchen has free RO water, toaster and a kettle with cutlery. Also there is a fridge. Rooms have a small table and chair to work , cupboard and AC cools very quickly! Good for the summers. Bathroom is huge and very clean. Best place to stay in fort kochi for the price as there is value in this stay. Initially the blanket given was quite small for me while a slim person could be comfortable in it. But lakshmi chechi immediately got a bigger one for both of us so the sleep was perfect and comfortable. Owners are very friendly and welcoming and small things are neglected when there are so many good things about this place. They also arrange small tours near by and help you with details which you can get from them. Car can’t be parked here while bikes can. Can hire bikes near by(be careful with shana rental guy)

Everything was great

Lakshmi and her husband are very warm and welcoming. They waited for me until late in the night to arrive and to ensure I am comfortable. The homestay serves very good breakfast. It’s a quaint and pleasant stay with a very nice family. I hope to stay here again and highly recommend this place to others

Everything was fine

Excellent hosts who do all they can to make your stay memorable, sharing information and suggestions. Comfortable large bed, access to a shared kitchen with fridge, tea and coffee. Breakfast was good value with different Kerelan food each day and lots of fruit. Spotlessly clean.

Absolutely everything: Lakshmi is very wellcoming, all the questions get answered, most delicious honemade Kerala breakfest on request, the rooms are spotless clean, no moscitos, small kitchen wirh water/ tea/ coffee and sitting area available. I had a late flight on the departure day and could keep the room till late in the evening with no problem at all. Location perfect: quite ( except for Mosque und temple prayers esrly morning, but i like it), but max 15 min walk to all the attractions. I will definitely stay there again and higly recommend it

The owner was really lovely, our flight was delayed by over 3 hours meaning we didn’t arrive till 3am! But he waited up for us and was really kind upon our arrival. There is filtered water available and you can buy breakfast which was nice. The bed was comfortable. The location was the best part easy walking distance to most of the attractions and good restaurants

We couldn’t get any hot water out the shower only the taps .. but we did not enquire about this so not sure if it just needs fixing - the towels were tiny, if sharing with a friend or family member it would be inappropriate how small the towels were as they didn’t cover half your body but that was our own fault with the place.
