Rustle Hill Home Stay-Ella

Nice view

Not a service oriented place. We were offered for laundry and it all came back wet and not dried when told otherwise. Dirty glassware and all electrical outlets are not the typical D type but rather G type and no alternative offered. Would not recommend.

Room size good. Good view. Nice seating area. too many stairs but owner did carry cases up and down stairs so made it a little easier. But once up top loved it. Close to everything within walking distance.

The Rustel Hill Home Stay is very close to the foot of Little Adams Peak which makes it easy to go up first thing early morning for sunrise. It took me about 50 minutes from the stay to the top. It also is a short walk to Ella town where all the restaurants are. The host was very nice and friendly. The room was clean and nice. It could have fit three people since there was one double and one single bed which gave me extra room for my things. Be aware of a lot of steps to climb up to your room which gives you a great view though. I would stay here again.

The location was very good, just outside of all the hustle and bustle of Ella town. 3 minutes away by tuktuk or bike. The staff were lovely and helpful. A warm shower is also always good. Nice terrace outside of room.

Unfortunately there was quite a bit of mould on the walls and on and around the shower also the mirror wasn’t cleaned. Things that can be solved with a lick of paint and a small amount of extra care when cleaning. The room was also damp to the point you could feel it on the beds. These were really the main issues and hopefully can be solved with cleaning, paint and some dehumidification.

The service provided by Harsh ,Neelu and Pathu were exceptional... They treated us more like a family than guests. Provided food without even asking us to know that we were too hungry... Neelu cooked a scrumptious meal which made us feel so homely.She always had a smiling face and happy to fulfill our needs when we asked. Manager Harsh helped us with all the travel facilities and his guidance. This place is very close to the 9arch bridge as well as the Ella town.

Difficult for old people to climb stairs.this can be informed prior.

The view from the hotel was amazing. The city was just about 10 mins walk and also 20 mins walk from the famous 9 arch bridge. Hosts were amazing and very welcoming and helpful

Great location, just a walk away from the Bridge. The hosts are amazing and they even gave us some free rice, eggs and tea when we arrived late and tired from the road. The breakfast was superb too. Beautiful nature around.

The people working there are so friendly and lovely 🫶🏽 mahesh and the cleaning lady we did manage to communicate and they would always make me laugh :) also perfect location away from the noise and on the path to do little adams peak or nine arch bridge. A lot of stairs to go up but they took my huge suitcase up which i really appreciate!! Would come back

Maybe the bugs but it was rainy season and thats the small sacrifice to pay for being in the middle of the jungle with a nice view.
