The rooms were clean and tasty restaurants nearby. Ather was a very attentive and friendly host.

The location is less busy than the city which is a relief, but it is about 30 or 45 mins to the Gulmarg gondola.

Kashmir Homestay was a great place to rest in the Kashmir valley. The host Ather was very kind and the accomodation was clean with everything one would need for a comfortable stay. The business is family run so it was great to support the locals in the area. The food at the restaurant across the street was very good as well. Would definitely recommend a stay here if you are traveling to Kashmir!

The only drawback I can think of was that the location was about 30-40 minutes from Gulmarg. But the value for what you get is unmatched for the area.

Stayed here for two nights with my wife and the room was very spacious. Ather, our host, was very helpful and anticipated our needs—offering us thermal bags, hot drinking water, etc. There was hot water and a small kitchen in our room. They also have a small shop for souvenirs where you can get Kashmiri arts and crafts.

Clean, comfortable, great host. Very positive experience!

It was a pleasure and a privilege to have been hosted by such a warm, compassionate and kind family. We were right at home from the time we walked in. The handsome sweet young man, Ather, takes care of everything himself, giving it a real personal touch. Felt as if we were visiting family in a different city. So much so that settling our dues towards the end felt awkward, while we were leaving. I couldn’t dare to add any tips, felt it would be disrespectful towards him. The least I can do is to spread the word.

Not for anyone who is looking for luxury.

Property is decent and feels like home.

All over home , Staf nature very friendly and the location is perfect on Gulmarg highway road easy way to travel.
