La ubicación, pero porque es un poco lío llegar. Habría que dejarlo mejor explicado. Hay que llegar a un embarcadero y ahí coger una barca para cruzar el lago. Luego son 10 min andando o 3min en moto.

We stayed one night at Plastic Bottles House and also booked a 6 day trip at some of the national parks with David (the owner). The accommodation was lovely, made with such care, such an environmentally focused vision and offers such a beautiful and tranquil place to stay. The village is beautiful and the boat to get there is a fun journey, if you're arriving into Entebbe, I can't think of a better place to stay. Rooms were amazing, bed was super comfy and the shower was great! Couldn't fault anything with the accommodation. If you're coming to Uganda to explore, to see wildlife and what to do a tour, you have to book it through David! It has been the best tour we've ever done, and most of that has been through David's personality, he's always laughing and joking and hilarious to be around, but also so well educated on the history and politics of the country, meaning any question will always be met with a fascinating response. His social consciousness and environmental awareness really comes through and shows your money will always go back into places where it matters. I feel like he showed us everything about Uganda, its beauty, its history, its future and more than anything, its birds! If you like a bird (which we have grown to), then come visit and book a trip. I'm not sure I've ever known a man as knowledgeable as anything as David is about birds and specifically Ugandan birds! Take a shoebill tour or a birding visit, you'll not regret it. Honestly, David is an incredible person, so funny, so kind and the perfect guide. His tours were really affordable, comfortable, well planned and so so much fun. Couldn't recommend it more, and if you just need a place to stay, the accommodation itself is fantastic. Thanks so much for everything, we'll be back to see that Shoebill!

Homestay with David, that has separated small.houses on his beautiful garden. The rooms has each own bathroom, mosquito net and terrase. David organized a shoebill watching for next, which was great, and helped us with transport over the lake.

Little difficulties to find the place. Maybe some signage will help to boda boda drivers to find it :-)

Nice and calm place near the ferry to Entebbe. Good value for money and the owner really makes you feel welcome.

Everything was perfect!! So much attention from the owner David. He makes lovely breakfast for you and gives lots of advice on where and how to travel. And he is a bird expert, so can be your guide on several trips!!

I made the mistake of trusting the reviews of this place. It's located far away from the airport, and the location on this site isn't correct. It was difficult to find the correct location and nearly impossible to reach anyone at the property. Someone kept responding on this site, but basically only to say they were too busy to answer. When I gave them my WhatsApp number (same as on my booking) they claimed that didn't work, although no one else in Entebbe had issues reaching me. Tried for almost a week to contact them, and only got short, half replies. I eventually gave up and canceled my booking. Very poor customer service. Do not recommend.

David was a perfect host. He picked me up at the airport early in the morning and gave me a lot of recommendations what to do in Entebbe. He organised a great shoebill tour, he drove me to the taxi park when I was leaving. Also he cooks great meals. I enjoyed my stay very much. Can only recommend this place. Also liked the ferry crossing. If you want to support a local business come here.

Plastic Bottles Guest House was an amazing find. I arrived exhausted from a 7 hour non stop drive from Bugiri, where I had left an unsuccessful volunteering position and the moment I got there, the peace and beauty of the surroundings made me feel at home and the stress fell away. Pauline made me very welcome, her breakfasts and suppers were great, and I really enjoyed my stay. It truly felt like a home from home, I'm not a luxury hotel kind of person and I felt so lucky to have found such a reasonably priced guest house. I enjoyed the buzz of village life around, while appreciating the rural setting. David was so helpful when I left, sorted out my boda boda transport with my luggage to the boat over to Entebbe, and met me and took me to my next volunteer position, which took all the stress out of the journey, even stopping at the mall so I could pick up some essentials on the way. I can totally recommend this place to travellers who are looking for a hone from home, thank you so much Pauline and David.
