Eigentlich hatte ich zuvor eine sehr gute Bewertung abgegeben, da es mir gut gefallen hatte.

ABER irgendwie habe ich einen sehr hohen Preis bezahlt. Da ich neu angekommen war und in der Nähe kein ATM gab, war David zwar so lieb mit mir am nächsten Morgen mitzukommen, damit ich ihn direkt beim ATM vor meiner Busreise bezahlen konnte. Ich hatte also noch keine Ahnung von der Währung und habe ihm vertraut. Wir hatten sogar noch privat per WhatsApp geschrieben. Als ich ihm aber nach dem Preis gefragt habe und von ihm wissen wollte, wieso ich irgendwie so viel bezahlt habe und ob er es mir erklären konnte (habe eine Tour gemacht, hatte ein Taxi, die Unterkunft natürlich und Essen) hat er auch nach mehrfachen Nachfragen nicht mehr geantwortet.

David is a very lovely host, he makes sure you're comfortable and always there to help. The compound is very beautiful and quiet, way much better than it looks on pictures. My stay at Plastic bottles House ignited my love for birds as David gave me so much information about birds. I'll definitely go back!

Honestly, there is nothing i liked about this place.

I arrived at 19:00 and was required to wait for more than 20 minutes as David was not at home upon my arrival. The room, including the bathroom, was not clean, and there was no internet access available. I was very disappointed by these conditions. In addition, no one provided any information regarding the services they promised, such as bird watching. Overall, my experience was unsatisfactory and fell short of the expected standards which forced me ealier as i had intended to stay for 2 days.

David war ein sehr freundlicher und total hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Er hat mir bei all meinen Problemen geholfen und mir alles ermöglicht. Er bietet Touren zu den Shoebills an, was sehr großartig war. Die Anlage ist super gepflegt und sehr schön. Die Lage liegt zwar etwas außerhalb, ist aber trotzdem sehr schön für einen Spaziergang.

The place was exceptionally clean, I loved the ferry and boat rides back and forth, the village area was more interesting than the town side and David was a wonderful host - and also a great cook! Highly recommend <3

David’s Plastic bottle house is a bird watcher’s paradise and a little piece of heaven for those who look for authentic off-beaten stay.I had spent amazing times here and David is very knowledgable about the birds and curious to learn new things about the world.The stay is quiet and comfortable and accessible through ferry or boat ride and a short boda/ taxi ride from the jetty.This place needs it’s recognition for the unique concept and everything the house owner puts into towards the community.If you are in Entebbe for Shoebill watching,look no further,David is your guy.

I had a great stay at the Plastic Bottles House it was very comfortable with a lovely atmosphere. David the host was amazing, and the vibe made it even better. Truly enjoyable!

Het zijn hele mooie huisjes. Klein, maar groot genoeg. De eigenaar is zeer gastvrij en weet veel te vertellen.

Helaas wordt je eens in de zoveel tijd gestoord door laag overkomende vliegtuigen. Maar daar kan de eigenaar niets aan doen.
