Rock View Home Stay

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in Dambulla. Der Besitzer war sehr nett und hat uns vom Bus direkt abgeholt. Das Frühstück war sehr authentisch und lecker und jedes Mal ein bisschen anders. Wir haben einmal ein Abendessen im Homestay gegessen, dieses war ein super vielfältig, füllendes, leckeres Curry, welches wir nur empfehlen können. Bei der Organisation von Ausflügen wie eine Safari in den Minnerya-Nationalpark hat uns der Host auch geholfen. Alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden!

El Johnny i la seva dona son una parella encantadora, i molt atents amb els hostes. Ens van preparar uns esmorzars de primera i inclús ens va explicar una mica l’història de Sri Lanka. També ens va ajudar a llogar una moto i ens va donar consells d’on anar. Vam estar molt a gust!

Tutto impeccabile. Gli host sono disponibilissimi, accoglienti, simpatici, ci hanno accolto benissimo, aiutato a spostarci nella zona, consigliato attività e preparato una buonissima cena singalese. La camera era molto pulita, la colazione abbondante e ottima .

Greatest place! Perfect base to visit cave temples and Sigiriya. Peacefull setting, away from the tourist crowds. Very friendly family and delicious food. Thank you! :)

The ultimate guesthouse, just a short walk to the dambulla caves. Extremely helpful hosts drove me to the caves and atm free of charge. Room is spotlessly clean with great facilities, large and very modern, good shower and fast wifi and great air con. What makes me want to go back the most though was the breakfast, it was unbelievably good.

It was the perfect place for us in Dambulla. Walking distance to the cave temples and golden Buddha was a real bonus for us. The hosts were so lovely and generous. They gave us special New Year sweets to take with us and even some chilli seeds. The room was big and clean, as was the bathroom. A/C worked really well and the monkeys behaved themselves for a change :)
