"Great and welcoming!"

Delicious breakfast, location is close to restaurants and the sea! Really nice bay to swim and surf. Very welcoming family, who are open for a nice conversation. Room is spacious and clean, same for the bathroom. Nice to have space to sit in the evenings and have a tea, watch monkeys and enjoy the scenery.

Had an amazing stay at Sand Dollar House! The hosts really helpful and friendly. They were so welcoming and even invited us to celebrate Sri Lanka New Year’s with their family, which was such a memorable experience.

"Leuk verblijf in Hiriketiya!"

De eigenaren waren heel vriendelijk en aardig. Ze waren erg gastvrij en gezellig om mee te praten. De buitenplaats vonden we heel fijn met de hangmat en het ligplekje. Er is ook een koelkast en thee/koffie. Het ontbijt was prima. De kamer was leuk gedecoreerd. Alles zag er netjes uit.

Niks noemenswaardig om hier te schrijven, het is echt een prima verblijf, zeker voor de prijs.

Would highly recommend this lovely home stay property, which was very comfortable and in a great, quiet location. We particularly loved having the outdoor space. Our host Roshani was very welcoming and always available to give us advice.

"Knusse plek gerund door lieve familie"

Het eigen binnentuintje was ontzettend knus. Fijn om je even in terug te trekken. De eigenaresse was heel aardig, behulpzaam en kon goed Engels. Ze heeft ons veel verteld over het schoolsysteem in Sri Lanka. De kindjes zijn heel lief en willen graag spelen als jij dat ook wil.

Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft mit eigenem Garten und einer kleinen Küche, in der man gut entspannen kann und in deren Umgebung man auch Affen sehen kann. Die Gastgeberin Roshani ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Sie hat sich regelmäßig erkundigt, ob bei uns alles in Ordnung ist. Außerdem konnten wir unkompliziert einen Roller ausleihen. Das Zimmer ist sauber und ausreichend groß. Die Klimaanlage funktioniert einwandfrei. Auch das Frühstück war sehr lecker und liebevoll zubereitet. Insgesamt hatten wir einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt und würden die Unterkunft definitiv weiterempfehlen.
