Es hat uns extrem gut gefallen . Die Gastgeber, waren so freundlich und hilfsbereit wie wir es in vielen Jahren noch nie erlebt haben. Die Mutter kocht ein hervorragendes Kottu, der Vater war sehr bemüht alle unsere Wünsche zu erfüllen. Er bzw. Sein Sohn gingen mit uns zusammen zum Sonnenuntergang. Alles war einfach Klasse.

The owners were fantastically hospitable The close proximity to Lion Rock and Pidurangala Rock The dinner and the cultural Sri Lankan breakfast were the best meals we have eaten during our 3 weeks in the country . Home cooked with care .

Unable to decide between the location and the host! It's in the middle of a jungle, so expect an authentic jungle home vibe with birds chirping every morning and a very high chance you'll spot a wild elephant or a deer. Very close to the lions rock too, you can walk your way to it with some caution due to elephant crossing areas or Samar and team can easily hook you up with a tuktuk as well. Please eat at least one meal here may be the noodles and ask him for the special chilly paste/chutney if you have a taste for flavourful but hot and fiery stuff. I loved it!!! Exceptional people and exceptional stay.

That I should have stayed for a day more.

Gospodarz to wspaniały człowiek, który czuwał o nasz komfort i bezpieczeństwo. Pozwolił nam wcześniej sie zameldować za co mu bardzo dziękujemy. Pyszne śniadanie. I wspaniała lokalizacja.

Tolle Lage! Extrem hilfsbereiter und freundlicher Gastgeber!

Location, location, location! Within easy walking distance of both Lion Rock and Pidurangula. Also well situated for arranging a safari. Possible to do Lion Rock in the morning and an elephant safari in the afternoon. Good breakfast, best welcome drink in the country, very friendly and helpful owner. Would definitely stay again.

Room was a bit small and didn't have any place to place suitcase(s). Also, would have been nice to receive more bottles of water for our second day stay.
