Battambang Eco Stay &cooking class

I’ve spent two nights at Battambang Eco Stay. It has been a very short stay but I totally enjoy it. The stay is perfect if you love nature, in the centre of Battambang but just a little outiside from the city. Totally sourronded and in harmony with the countryside. Room and bathroom are clean, breakfast cook by them is delicious! They welcome you with a basket of fruit. It’s a true jewel and owner Pisey will give you a more pleaset stay. She is a very big sweetheart, and all her family too. She has been at my disposal every time always with a big smile. She arranged for me the transfer from bus station to the stay with mr Sophat (you can contact him if you need to move around Battambang). They can also provide you dinner if you need it. they cooked for me an amazing dinner! I highly recomend this stay and at least a night more them mine!

Clean, fantastic A/C, wonderful breakfast, fresh fruit in bedroom, and a wonderful host. The bed was very comfortable and it was a great stop, away from the hustle and bustle to recharge our batteries.

Relaxing with such helpful people - great to have someone you can pass the phone to so they sort out your boat trip in Khmer, then can explain it all to you in English. Nice breakfast.

A wonderful homestay. Comfortable rooms. All the staff were delightful and went above and beyond with their service. The meals were superb too.

The hostess was incredible and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. We had dinner there every night which tasted incredible she's an amazing cook. Their family was running around which gave it a lovely feel. Would definitely recommend!

Spending time with a traditional Cambodian family was a rewarding experience. The flexibility of our hosts was excellent.

You are living with a family in a Village homestay. We loved that but you need to set your expectations. It is a village home stay and not a star rated hotel. We loved it and will come back, but some people expect a 5 star service for a no star price. It’s clean, comfortable and you could not expect better hosts.

We had such a wonderful time in Battambang, thanks to the hostess+family! They were truly amazing! We also had dinner at their place. It was the best cambodian food we ever tasted! Besides being the most hospitable person ever, the hostess is also a great cook! The whole family does a lot for the community too, they’re the kindest persons ever. This is a real gem in Battambang! If we could, we would they a lot longer here.

If you are travelling to Battambang I highly suggest you stay with Battambang eco stay. Firstly the owners Phirum and Pisey went over and beyond their duty to help me when I got into some difficulty. Secondly, they’re both inspiring and invest their profits into library’s and helping local children with English. The stay its self has been well built, good craftsmanship and very comfortable. I had a delicious breakfast, again the food locally sourced which helps the local community and had access to a scooter to get around. This family deserves your time and stay with them! See you in the future :)

The family were so kind and attentive to our needs, and it was really lovely having all of their happy kids running around. The food was amazing. We liked being outside of the city as it was calm and quiet. It was also a good location for visiting the Banon Temple and the Bat Caves with their scooter. Our room was perfect with the fans keeping us cool and mosquito net to keep us covered. It was also a really good size, with a lovely deck out the front to eat our meals and relax. The bathroom was also really spacious.
