Apartment Maximilian in old Town

- Great location, very central! - Two nice beds that make it possible to stay there with 4 people comfortably - Kitchen being able to use for breakfast etc - flexible check in hour (although be aware that official check in is only till 6pm) - overall clean apartment - modern bathroom - affordable rates

- blinds in the bedrooms are not covering and rooms get very bright in the morning - smelly towels - additional fees need to paid with cash with the exact amount (no possibility to change) If problems come up, be aware of the communication. We unfortunately had some issues which we communicated through WhatsApp. The host is not able to take any suggestions, if problems come up. He will pick a fight out of everything you say, twisting everything to his own benefit and provoking as much as possible (classic anger issues - check out other bad reviews for his rude and disrespectful answers to get a glimpse of his type of reaction). This lead to the host showing up unannounced on a Sunday morning in person at the apartment - looking for an argument. Even though we asked him multiple times politely for him to leave he kept on arguing, getting loud and being provocative to everyone. Even racist comments about foreigners not being 'respectful' were being shared. This has never happened to me as a European, travelling with foreign people. I was beyond embarrassed for such racist comments towards the other guests. The situation felt horrific and intrusive cause he only left after having got out his anger, even tho we asked him in a normal tone to please leave us alone. I can only recommend to stay out of his way! This was the most horrific end to a nice weekend. Nobody wants to be yelled at in person, of an unannounced host!!

Cozy apartment, super clean, well equipped kitchen, very warm, perfect location, very friendly house owner. We felt like home.

Host was great. Really good communication.

Very thin windows you can hear talking outside, i dont like the split payment. I prefer to see the full price on the heading not in the smaller print. Family of 5 cleaning fee was 85 euros for 1 night. If i had seen this in the headline (even though it was on the page) i prob wouldnt have booked. That said its a great deal for a couple.

Locaiton / host

Excellent appartment at a good location near Innsbruck city center. Perfect for combining city and ski holiday.

Owner was very hospitable and accomodating to requests. Room had all the necessary facilities and was comfortable. Location is superb.

No complaints to speak of. Everything was in order.

Close to the old town and public transport. Very clean and cosy.

Quite small but cosy and fine for a close family for a few days.

The property was close to the centre and also to supermarkets. Comfortable beds and amenities. Our host so so helpful with taxi contacts, he also provided adapter for our appliances and wine/ treats.
