"Very hot"

Large and centrally located

Bit outdated and “penthouse nr10” is a attic appartment without air conditioning. In summer when it’s outside 35 degrees it will be inside over 40! I slept a few nights in the bathroom

"Comfortable, but initally stressful trying to confirm booking, they didn't even let me in 1 hr early"

Nice place, central, but the bed and bathroom were downstairs, while the toilet was upstairs!

First of all, after having paid on Booking.com, the company, Arbio, said that my payment had not been received and that I should pay again: ''We're excited to host your upcoming stay with us in Graz! However, we noticed that your reservation payment is still pending. To proceed, please choose one of the following payment options: 1. Update your credit card information on Booking.com and we will charge the card again. 2. Pay securely via credit card on your Arbio reservation page.'' I checked and my funds had been debited and I checked with Booking.com and they had received them. Then they (Arbio) sent msg: You might get a payment failure message from Booking.com – no need to worry. To check your actual payment status, always go to your Reservation Page here: http://app.arbio.com/reservation/redeem?reservationid=****** Before check-in, please: 1. Open your Reservation Page and check the payment status. 2. If it says “unpaid”, wait an hour and check again. 3. If it’s still unpaid, check your credit card data and try the payment again either on Booking.com or on the reservation page. Second, Arbio wanted me to create an account on their website (see above) with phone numbers email etc in order to make sure I paid, and to check in. I said no (via Booking.com chat), I have paid and am dealing with Booking.com. They insisted, so I did, and they still sent messages saying I need to pay. Very stressfull when you are travelling and want all this accomodation booking to be simple and seamless. I therefore called Booking.com, and only after explaining all this and them contacting Arbio themselves, did the company admit funds were received and that I did not have to set up an account. I asked them to delete this account, but I have no idea if they did. Finally, I asked for a VAT receipt and it took so many emails and again representation to Booking.com, that it was over three weeks before I got it.

"Nice place, great host, will book again."

The location is good: the city center is within 5 minutes' walking distance. Andraz, the host, is very kind, responsive, and ready to help. I've been staying in this apartment several times, and it's nice to have a familiar, fully functional place away from home.

The attention to detail could be slightly better: it would be nice to have the amount of the consumables in the apartment accordingly to the period of stay. On the other hand, whenever you have a shortage, you can always ask the host, Andraz, and he'll provide.

"A perfect stay – if only the stairs didn’t feel like a mini mountain! 🧗‍♀️🏡"

We especially loved the style of the apartment – it’s modern, tastefully decorated, and at the same time very spacious and cozy. There were five of us, and we all had enough space and privacy, which is quite rare. We were also pleasantly surprised to find the heating on, even though it was May – after a chilly day outside, walking into a warm apartment was such a relief. The space truly invites you to snuggle up and relax.

The only downside was the staircase – the apartment is on the 4th floor and there’s no elevator. The stairs are quite steep, and it was exhausting to carry our suitcases all the way up. It would be helpful if this detail was highlighted more clearly in the apartment description so that guests can be prepared in advance.

"Unclean."

Location is great.

The cleanliness of the apartment, the bed was not made and leaned from the people staying before us, the trash bin was full of unhygienic stuff. The towels were smelly, all the soap dispensers were empty. It felt unclean because it was unclean.

"Passable"

The apartment is big enough and positioned well. But it doesn't mean that all good brings.

Communication with owner is not good and on time. Noisy, city tram goes from early in the morning. I have sent a message right at the moment when I was in the apartment, but no response on time. Very disappointed.
