Clean and a good location

Parking was a little to far away

If I could stay forever, I would! Loved staying at Old Saxo, truly home away from home. Clean, spacious, quiet, easy to find, amazing location!!! Close to everything! Bernard is a lovely human being and gave us great recommendations on where to eat, drink and get chocolate! Highly recommended staying at Old Saxo if you’re going to Ieper.

Lovely building, easy access and spacious. Great location, comfy bed, separate toilet to the shower room is great. Great value for money.

Some furniture was very tired, unfortunately including the sofa, which made wanting to spending time in the appt a little awkward. We can forgive this for the fantastic service and the price. Bed was lovely, but pillows could do with replacing. Garage is a nice touch, but it should be made clear that it is a fair walk from the property and is tight access (needs a confident driver)

Location excellent.

Cracked China - only one serviceable cup. Both yellow mugs crazed and one had crack down side. Other items of china also cracked. The bed was located under a concrete eave/lintel. My mother hit her head on the projection as she tried to sit up in bed. Badly bruised head and tears of pain. She is 90 years old next year. Perhaps some safety notices about the eaves? I also hit my head when turning on the light by tv. However, we enjoyed our stay and were happy with the general convenience and simplicity of the place. NB: Nowhere in the ‘handbook’ did it tell us where to deposit our rubbish. We eventually found a wheelbin under the stairs. We also needed refuse bags for the bin - we improvised.😂

The apartment was in walking distance of the town centre and the host was very friendly and informative with an information booklet of places to go and nearby facilities. The apartment had everything one would need for a little getaway.

At night time, when watching TV, there was no curtains to give a bit more privacy, albeit being on the top floor, we could see other windows facing us clearly.
