La Casa Bonita

Lovely and very spacious accomodation. Marielitos is a great host, very welcoming and accomodating. Breakfast is great, especially her veggie omlette. Huge windows give a view into the trees surrounding the property.

Amazing, spacious appartment with beautiful views of the forest. Incredibly kind host who gave us the best recommendations for food, activities and guides. Breakfast was delicious and right on time. She even does daily housekeeping which is such a nice touch and definitely not expected at that price point. The king bed was super comfy and we had the best night sleep yet. Would 100% stay again!

The shower could use a bit more pressure and heat.

Marielos was a great host. She prepared usa nice breakfast everyday, where we could choose between different options. The views in the morning are very nice. The bed was large and comfortable.

The whole apartment needs some renovation and painting. The sofas are a bit worn out. Kitchen equipment could be updated. The curtains in the living room/dining area were a bit see through, which gave us the sense of lacking some privacy.

Marielitos was so kind to help us with "car troubles", much more than we could ever expect. The appartment is very nicely situated, big windows to see monkeys in the morning, and a great base for all activities in Monte Verde.

Beautiful location with mountain views. The home was very cozy and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. Our host Marialos kindly agreed to serve delicious costa rican lunch instead of breakfast on the days when we had an early tour. We really appreciated it. Their fur babies were very friendly and we loved to play with them.

La Casa Bonita is a lovely wee place. So comfy and light and sunny (when the sun is out of course!). It has everything you could need including the most comfortable, large bed. Marielitos, the host, is super chill, friendly, accommodating and helpful - and she makes the best breakfasts! A great value place for sure. Tip: If you want a wildlife/bird guide, ask Marielitos for Roy’s number. He is one of the most experienced guides in the area and truly superb.

Access to the apartment was over unimproved trail through rocks and gravel.
