Central Park Holiday apartment

The location is great, easy to get around locally. A lot of space, I was able to house my big family.

Checking in was so much harder than it needed to be, we gave a notice ahead of time we'd be arriving in the nighttime. Was told that was fine and to WhatsApp them the day of. Unfortunately a delay for public transportation to Interlaken due to a landslide so to get ahold, just to give them an update was impossible. check-in was lengthy, calls were declined even when we were waiting outside of the property with no responses. After we finally received one, was given the wrong check in information so we had to wait again for correct information.

Location and shared dinning room was nice for big group of people

‼️The apartment was extremly dirty - full of dust, spider webs, mold in the bathroom and on the ceiling - as to be seen in the pictures. We found MANY BED BUGS, which were in the beds, on the walls and everywhere, which was really unpleasant and we have to clean all the suitcases now. The owner didn’t care about any of our problems. If possible, CHANGE YOUR RESERVATION TO ANYTHING ELSE!

I have booked two apartments at Central Park, Interlaken for stay between 15th August to 18th August, 2024. (Reference: 4333703270 & 4821557870) There were few issues from the time we arrived which got worst during stay. Our check in time was 4pm but we did not get keys until 7pm in 15th August. We, group of 17 people that include 8 kids, were waiting in heavy rain outside Appartment. We were trying to contact Appartment provider by email, Whatsapp message & by calling them by the number provided but no one responded.This is highly unexpected. The state of Appartments is very poor condition. In one of the Appartment (Appartment 03 - Ref.: 4821557870) rain water was dripping in one of the room directly on the bed so the guest in that Appartment did not sleep and she has to share room with another guest. Third issue is the worst of all. There were bed bugs in the apartments that bite us. We could not go out until mid day. We were in such a shock and stress because kids get bed bug bite and rashes all over body and could not sleep whole night. Our holidays got ruined. I am expecting full refund from you for both the appointments. I have also made official complaint to [link removed] I have attached video & images as evidence to prove state of the Appartment and health issues it causes to us in previous email. Few of the guests were so stressed they did not even spent last night in Cental park Appartment in Interlaken and booked hotel in Geneva. The other guests were moved to Appartment 02 (Ref.: 4333703270) from 03 (Ref.: 4821557870) which was again not acceptable.

Aside from location, I did not like anything else.

Superb location, centrally located in Interlaken, 5 min walk from Interlaken West Station and other departmental stores for grocery as well.

Maintenance of the flat could have been better, quite old furniture amd beds.

Large apartment suitable for 8 people.

Bedding with improvised buttons. Some kitchenware in bad conditions. Old dish sponge.

Location

Nobody there to assist you if you are in of need anything. The owner simply disregards your messages.
