Apartamentos FV Flats Valencia - San Felipe Neri

Great location, clean spaces and well distributed rooms. Everything we needed for our stay was easily available (towels, toilet paper, etc).

WiFi was a bit slow and spotty at times. The rooms felt cold at times, especially the living room.

Layout of apartment with two bathrooms was good. It was possible to adjust the temperature in apartment as needed. Idea with code locking doors is good as well.

Sound insulation does not exist. You'll hear all the neighbours quarrels, hear when they cook, shout at the street, use bathroom or flush toilets. Pipes under all the sinks aren't equipped with simplest air locks, as a result you can always smell all the canalisation system of the city right in the bathroom and at the kitchen. Internet is fast, but only at one part of the apartment, in the other one it's so slow you cannot watch YouTube with lowest resolution on one device. Electric appliances like microwave, washing machine, TV are very old, rusted and outdated, but function somehow so far, except for the TV, which isn't a smart TV and having only a few Spanish channels was of no use whatsoever. Chopping board in the kitchen is not new, is made of wood, it's never sanded and it's too big to put it into the dishwasher. It's pretty bad from hygiene point of view. I'd recommend replacing it with a few smaller ones those you can wash in washing machine regularly. Repair and repainting of walls and ceiling in general is long overdue and it creates an impression of not well maintained property.ö, so that ven it th cleaning is done flawlessly and towels and bed sheets are 100 clean, apartment itself does not create impression of a clean place. Good few windows cannot be securely closed and can be opened from the outside, even thou at this third floor it's unlikely. City itself is OK. Nice people, tasty food, good wines. Problem is with habits and discipline and lack of enforcement bof good behaviours: if you won't be very careful, you'll step into excrements within first 10 minutes of your walk or be showered with liquid dripping from AC units right on people's heads. There's also quite a strange system of garbage recycling, where you're not expected to throw paper or carton separately from the rest of the garbage and you're not motivated to sort your garbage at all, at least not materially.

you can find toilet paper dishwashing liquid and garbage bag but there was no soap and toiletries!

A few large drinking mugs and more wine glasses. ( only one large one )

Host was very willing to assist. He had to come personally with the garage keys to park the car as there was a miscommunication on confirming at checkin which was on line

The name of the apartment is not signed on the front door. It is just a number over the door but if you are not used to house numbers in Spain then it can be difficult. Checkin is on line and you do get clear instructions and the map link to the unit works really well even walking back to the unit from anywhere in the city Shower door doesn’t do the job! Water goes all over the place. Reason why the cabinetry is rotting and the shower floor is very slippery can be dangerous
