Genteel Home Arfe Terrace

We stayed in Don Pelayo. We were a group of four adults and the apartment was spacious and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable, including the sofa bed. It was extremely hot but the aircon worked perfectly. It was close to all the monuments and numerous bars and restaurants. It was in a quiet, safe street with no traffic. The terraces were lovely but we did not use them because of the heat

The front street door expanded with the heat and would not shut.

The roof terrace was disapointing as it had broken umbrella and needs renovation.

Beautiful apartment, excellent location

Great location, about 300 metres from Cathedral. Great little sun lounge area on the roof. Close to a myriad of restaurants, tapas bars and other shops. Very clean. Great spot, would recommend. Thanks to Maria for her help.

Steep steps up two floors , not good with heavy luggage.

Amazing apartment in a perfect location.

WeI liked the location of the apartment, as it was possible to walk to all the landmarks. The kitchen is equipped with everything necessary, and there is enough space for four people.

A huge downside was the awful smell. It was a mix of sewage and the scent of insecticide, presumably from pest control treatment for cockroaches before our arrival. This smell was impossible to get rid of; we tried airing out the apartment by opening the windows, but it didn’t help.

The apartment is located at a prime spot, very close to the cathedral and most historic places. The neighbourhood is enjoyable and it is easy to explore the city on foot from this property

The property is value for money. No complaints

The location is good, behind the cathedral.

No lift. The apartment is split level, make it even harder, the roof top terrace is full of dust, if step out and come back to the bedroom, you can see the floor is stained. Tiny 2nd bathroom.

Excellent location. Very clean and comfortable. Well equipped. Really liked the fact that we didn’t have to bother with keys.

I did find it quite noisy at night being right next to the restaurant but there is warning of this when you book. I would stay there again despite this.
