Upper Howick Hideaway

It definitely has the WOW factor..The apartment is so clean, comfortable and smells so nice.. It is in walking distance to Alnwick Castle and Gardens.. It is now one of my top 3 places I have stayed in..

There was nothing to dislike..

Great location and apartment. It had everything that we needed for our stay. Great communication with the owners and they were courteous with our request.

As seen by other reviews, who ever lived in the flat below plays their TV very loud. It didn’t disrupt us too much but something to be mindful off. Although note this isn’t the property owners fault.

Quirky, spacious, cheap & great location

I phoned ahead to ask if there was an iron, was told there was, unfortunately the ironing board didn’t have a functioning cover so couldn’t use the iron, the bathroom sink was blocked so took so long to drain you couldn’t get hot water in the sink. It doubt have a stand up showed just a bath & a shower hose. I fed this constructively to the owners but didn’t receive a response.

The photos don't do this apartment justice, more spacious than we thought it would be. Very clean and it was nice and cosy in the evening. The owners were very courteous and let us check in at 12 instead of 3pm. We didn't know what to expect when we first walked down the passageway as it's a little different but we were so happy with our choice once we entered. Location was excellent. Would definitely go back.

The only downside was the apartment below had their TV exceptionally loud all evening and into the early hours. It was hard to concentrate on our own tv. The next morning by 8am it was on full volume again. Such a shame as everything else was brilliant.

Great location, it was comfortable, homely and the communication for the owners was great!

The water dispenser in the fridge is mouldy so we didn’t use it and the people that live in the property below have there TV exceptionally loud which was slightly off putting

interesting , perfect location, bath is amazing

unfortunately there was bit noise from the downstairs, however being understanding of people with mental Heath this is not the owners fault as this is not their property. i wld suggest getting mattress toppers otherwise served purpose x

Lovely flat in a good location

The property is spacious, well appointed and has all necessary amenities. The bath is very large but it does not have a stand up shower

The approach is a little disconcerting the first time but then soon forgotten about
