Very basic television. Bring a laptop or tablet if you're planning on watching TV.

A lovely characterful property with a great layout. The fish decor and corrugated walls won't suit all, but we were very comfortable. Hay is about 10nminutes drive away. Be aware that the satnav takes you to a house down the road towards Hay, so head past that and turn right down the gated road with other cottages listed.

Great location and beautiful countryside

It was quite dark inside and the soft furnishings could have been a little nicer (seating revamp and roman blinds instead of office blinds etc). The sinks in the kitchen had a lot of gunk in the plug catchers that hadn’t been cleaned. Some of the glass cookware was quite grimy and the splash backs in the bathroom and kitchen could do with cleaning. Having the option of a couple of towels per person would be nice, especially if you have long hair and have washed it. A caddy in the shower to hold shampoo etc could be useful. The WiFi password looks like “sheep 2024” when it is “Sheep2024” so worth making sure that’s clear. Mobile reception is better upstairs rather than downstairs so that could be mentioned in the manual along with the WIFI details.
