JOIVY Old Town 1-Bed Apartment with Stunning Views

The location is wonderful, right off the royal mile and next to Waverley train station. Even so, the apartment is very quiet at night.

The bed is incredibly uncomfortable. Unfortunately this is not a matter of liking a firm vs soft mattress. The mattress has a lump running down the middle and is quite hard. The pillows are uncomfortable and the sheets were very rough.

The apartment was perfect - clean, lovely views, everything worked & instructions given were perfect. I would definitely recommend & stay at this property again :-)

Only one thing, but this is made clear & not something than can be fixed. However the stairs were a lot with it being on the top floor & no lifts. SO if you are booking please consider this. Everything else was wonderful :-)

Location was excellent, close walking distance to so much. Rooms were good sized. Kitchen was good

Bed/mattress was terrible and I think it has bedbugs. Washing machine destroyed a jumper of mine. Expensive

The location was perfect with coffee, restaurants close by and of course great pubs. the unit had everything you need. the view was really nice.

Working out what lock box was the one to use. Having to walk up 6 floors with a lot of luggage. the information sheets was out of date with turning the heating on as the unit has changed to dial system on the bench.

There were multiple lock boxes and had to try them all, wasn't clear which one to use.
