JOIVY Old Town 1-Bed Apartment with Stunning Views

Excellent flat in great central Edinburgh location between the station and Royal Mile. Well appointed, very comfortable, good facilities.

Bear in mind the flat is the top floor of a traditional four story Edinburgh tenement, so a bit of a climb, although the stairs are wide and easy to navigate. Minor point, wasn't a problem for us and a great place overall!

The views are absolutely fantastic out of any window within the facility. The location was incredible as it was no more than 5 minutes from Waverly Station and 7ish minutes from the local shops.

Conveniently located and easily accessible to Waverley Station, Edinburgh Bus Station, shops, restaurants and cafes. A clean, cosy and comfortable apartment with well-equipped kitchen and spacious rooms. Friendly and responsive staff who provided clear directions and instructions.

The apartment’s on the fourth floor so it can be quite a climb with luggage. Nothing to complain about, though we would have preferred stronger water pressure for the shower.

The location was ideal. Very handy for Princes St,with the castle at one end and Hollyrood Palace and the Parliament buildings at the other. Brilliant for touring the city

The apartment was tired looking. Dining room chairs were very uncomfortable. Bedding was sparse not cosy at all. The leasing company stressed the apartment was to be kept clean during the stay but no cleaning products were made available to do so,not even washing up liquid. Di sh washer was good but not economical with only a few crockery pieces to wash. There are 85 steps to ascend to reach the apartment which should be made clear to customers . No lifts.

The location is very convenient, close to the Royal Mile, shops and restaurants. The appartment is spacious, we found everything we needed.

It took us a day to understand how to control the heating. Instructions were misleading as there were some pages with outdated information. By the way, wifi password was also wrong in these pages, good that we saw another poster. Also, it was a bit difficult to climb every time to the top floor, we knew that only from other guests responses. This could be mentioned in the description itself just for people to know. But with small luggage this is OK.

Great location, spacious, great kitchen and lounge room and great views. Loved having the bath tub and the bed was comfortable.

I travelled with my daughter and had no idea until we arrived that it was on the top floor with 4 flights of stairs. We had 30kg of luggage each!!! Impossible to get up the stairs, but a call to Altido and they said they would send someone to assist.

Great location just few minutes from railway station and Royal Mile - lots of restaurants, shops, bars and other attractions around. Fully equiped, beautiful and clean apartment with nice views.
