The balcony is a great space and only a short walk into town.

Although looked not much on the outside . The apartment had all you needed and was clean and tidy

The location was great

The location was great. Sadly the accommodation had a few faults: in the second bedroom the window didn't shut properly and therefore the wind was blowing through all night. The bathroom smelt of blocked drains and was bubbling in the plug hole in the bath. The child upstairs spent each evening until 08.30 at least running around and it was very noisy on our ceiling.

Lovely view, right on the sea front and easily accessible to everything. Well stocked kitchen plates, mugs and utensils, washing powder and washing up liquid provided. Bedrooms were nice, living room tastefully decorated. Information provided in the flat was useful. Short walk to the pier where you can catch a range of busses. I reccomend the Eastbourne sight seeing tour. If you're a hiker, there's a great 15 mile loop taking you to Birling Gap and the 7 sisters. Starts and finishes right at the door of the flat. (download Komoot, the hiking app). Hippodrome and Train Station all within walking distsnce. Great fish and chip shop right over the road, lots to do, land train, leisure centre and mini golf all on your doorstep! Beds were very comfy, not sure why other reviews didn't like them but we did!

No sharp knives in the kitchen made chopping veg tricky. Boiler needed resetting upon arrival, simple enough but faffy and no warning. The gas stove is temperamental but will work with a bit of encouragement, just hold the knob down longer than usual. No bin bag in the kitchen despite info saying there would be one, owner gave a suggestion of where I may find one but sadly there wasn't one there. I took one with me but this wasn't enough for a whole week. Door buzzer doesn't work, be careful if you order take away or go out without keys as you may run into problems. In need of a deep clean, dusty in the radiators, skirting boards and TV etc. Drivers, please take note: Issues with parking and the neighbour who was rude to us about how the car was parked and parked very close to our car meaning we couldn't get in or out. Rude and verbally abusive, we almost called the police. We had a Ford Focus, so not a large vehicle and there is enough space for both of us to park with plenty of space but he made our life very difficult. We ended up leaving a day early because he had upset us so much we did not feel safe staying. Shame, because this ruined our whole holiday. Definitely isn't the fault of the property owner, but something to be aware of if you are parking. Sadly there is no other parking around, you can park on the streets but it is very busy and you would be lucky to find a space. If you need parking, I advise looking elsewhere. If you don't need parking, this is a great little apartment to explore from!
