Host & Stay - Golden Lion Apartments

Room was clean and aired, good level of facilities

the windows outside were filthy the view from the bedroom was roof tops which was of but the roofs were littered with rubbish ( 2 x pizza boxes ) and overgrown weeds windows had very little sound deadening battery's for tv remote were flat

Fabulous location, bed very comfortable. Brilliant view.

The stairs are quite hard going

All key codes to the accommodation were sent a couple of hours before our arrival. Super easy. The apartment is dead centre of Whitby so very easy to access everywhere we needed to go, the place was cozy and just off the Main Street, would definitely recommend for a cheap short stay at Whitby

The position

Two adults staying. One dinner plate, 2 bowls one of which was cracked, 2 mugs one of which was cracked where you drink from. Peeling paint in the lounge. One hand towel with a hole in it, dirty cutlery with food remnants.

Modern Clean Excellent location

Parking ( it states parking is free but we couldn’t find anywhere to park) Toilet is very noisy when flushed

Whitby as a place is lovely people are lovely to, out of season the restaurants shut early 8pm.

No wardrobes in the bedroom so you're clothes are hung by a window that leaks so clothes were soaking wet every time it rains, Smelt of damp in the stair way. When you have a shower, in the middle of the night the shower empties itself, very freaky if you're a light sleeper.

Everything was just perfect
