Location, nicely furnished

Couldn’t get underfloor heating in kitchen and double bedroom to work. Boiler cupboard has leaflets and other papers just chucked on the floor under the boiler. Stairs in apartment not clean. Standalone radiator sparking when tried to use it. Emergency escape light in living room broken. Sofa didn’t look clean and had black hairs on it. Heated towel rail in downstairs shower room not working as no electric to it. Gap between shower cubicle and sink unit in downstairs shower room hasn’t been cleaned for quite some time. Marks on bed base in twin room. Marks on bedding, bedding was clean but had obviously been marked, washed and reused rather than taken out of circulation. Shower drains not draining properly, when removed drain covers found gunk in them so obviously had not been cleaned for quite some time or indeed ever. Communal staircase has not been cleaned for since time as dirty in the gaps between the spindles. Also when descending the stairs the downstairs the last twist and couple of steps are in darkness and you have to navigate these in darkness until the sensor picks up you are there at which point the light does come on, it’s dangerous.

Nothing apart from it being across the road from the swing bridge. There is noise from the street below and the pub at night and birds on a morning bear that in mind but we wouldn't recommend saying here at all despite it being central because the cleaning standards are not up to scratch read the previous reviews seems they don't learn their lesson or take any notice from previous compaints.

It was dirty hadn’t been cleaned - don’t stay here. We arrived to find the dishwasher hadn’t been cleaned or the fridge, the kettle still had water in it as did the coffee machine. There were balls of dust everywhere and sweet wrappers on the floor. We rang and complained we were asked to go out and wait for cleaners which we did when we got back they hadn’t been. We rang again too late cleaners were finished for the day. We had to clean it ourselves we haven’t been offered any compensation or refund. It got cold, the under floor heating was poor and didn’t warm the place up at all there were some free standing heaters but they don’t really heat such a large place. The customer service is poor, the cleaners should be embarassed they came back the next day but still left that dirty cloth which was the state we got it in. Poor value for money I don't go for a weekend away to have to clean the place as we also had to put all the glasses and plates in the dishwasher and clean them all you would think this would be standard for these types of places? All in all a very poor and disappointing experience, nobody cared, nobody came, we have complained but waiting for a refund and/or compensation. Be very wary staying here.

On arrival the heating wouldn't work, after afew hours one maintenance man turned up with a convector heater which had no legs attached so we had to balance it on 2 cups, the other heater was digital operated,no instructions to work anything,couldn't get the hob or oven to work, 2 heaters to warm a 2 bed apartment was totally inadequate, one of the showers was too hot and no option to control it,not enough cups cooking utensils etc, some of which were dirty, no plug in the kitchen sink, the apartment is on the 3rd floor so lots of steps to climb, we was told the heating didn't work the day before we arrived and was an on going issue, if this is the case it should not be available until these issues are corrected.

The location was great. Large clean apartment comfortable beds and a powerful shower.

The fridge was not very clean nor was the oven.
