Host & Stay - Golden Lion Apartments

The room was brilliant, really clean, had everything we needed and more, great location right by everything and easy to get to. We really enjoyed our stay.

The instructions on how to get the keys should be a little more clear, we didn't know we had to put our palm on the screen to type the code, maybe explain that to future stays.

So central right in the middle of whitby

Location and the apartment itself were great. Literally slap bang in the centre of where you'd want to be.

Had to drive round the one way system twice before realising that we couldn't actually get to the address itself, by Car. A very short walk, but this needs to be made clear, before arrival, as you have to leave your car in a parking zone, with no ticket, to collect your pass from the address. Take your own milk, tea-bags etc as there was literally one sachet of milk and tea in the kitchen. Very strict on arrival and leaving times, expecting you to pay extra for any leeway on those times. Out by 10am on a Sunday morning, plus the ticket provided for the car also ran out at 10am! Felt a bit like cattle, to be honest. A pity, as the place itself was lovely. Message to the owners; Remember - the people staying are on holiday!

Perfect location. Nice & cosy. Really comfy bed.

Couldn't close the bathroom door properly as i was on crutches. Was hard to open & close.

Fantastic location. Really liked the view over the bridge and up to the Abbey, great position for a good sunrise. Entry was easy enough front door code for the building and a code for the key safe. A really lovely apartment, nicely decorated, beautifully furnished. A good size bigger than expected with such a good view, very thoughtfully decorated, light bright and modern. Shower room/toilet on both floors which was great with two teenage boys, good powerful shower, nice towels, and sheets, had everything we needed with really nice little extras like dishwasher tablets cleaning items, tea, coffee facilities and good quality toiletries. It's all beautifully decorated and very clean We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this apartment and stay here again .

Couldn't find a plug for the kitchen sink or placements/coasters for the kitchen table. Great that there were lots of wall sockets but would be good to have one with USB sockets. Top floor apartment 3rd floor 6 flights of stairs not to much of an issue for us for a short stay we only had a small bag each. Only for me Personally - double bed was very soft

Well located at the side of the golden lion Irish pub. Well equipped with everything you need for your stay. Nice decor and bathroom has quality fittings.

Could have been cleaner. Skirtings boards need a deep clean. Wiped everything down soon as we got there. Dust on shelves and plug sockets. Noise from flat above excessive. Not properties fault but one to note. Parking is within w zone. Pack light impossible to load and unload nearby. Marks on carpet from previous guest. Dog hairs remained from previous guests. Battery to remote need changing!
