Balmoral Apartment

location and views were exceptional

sadly the shower broke which I put down to bad luck. It is a climb up to the apartment that I was advised about so as long as you know.

Location was excellent. The views from each window was breathtaking taking. Perfect size apartment.

No wi-fi. The corner sofa was lumpy.

The hosts were extremely helpful when I spoke to them and were obviously keen to do everything possible to ensure that we had received all the relevant information and had a good stay at the apartment. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and well equipped and the location was excellent.

The views are stunning and the location was perfect. Right in the town centre

Lots of stairs to climb but nothing can be done about that. With a little planning for the day it’s a small price to pay for the excellent views.

Where do I start, the state of the place, needs upgrading ASAP, the 63 stairs to the apartment that are not specified in the Booking.com website, no hot water in the kitchen, or bathroom sink, bed was horrible, my husband really struggled with sleep for 3 nights. I could go on and on. I certainly wouldn't stay again. I was glad to cut our break short 😢😪😢

Loved the views from the apartment. It was really handy that it came with a parking space. Central location was lovely.

The shower didn't work. One of the windows wouldn't close properly. Arm on the sofa was broken. Bed was exceptionally low.

The staircase

location was brilliant... bed was comfy.. good quality towels in shower room...

didn't like the stairs (but we were warned in advance) they needed a pressure wash to clean the green mold, which could be slippy in wet weather... no hot water as mentioned previously by others... window didn't close properly... plug in handbasin didn't work.... one mug in kitchen area for two people ??...basically the whole area could do with a good clean

All the essentials you’d need, great views and close to locals cafes and shops. Nice little Kitchen area with the basics like pans and cutlery available. Bedroom area clean and presentable overall. Nice little apartment, well presented and a decent value considering the central location and facilities provided.

Washer dryer would have been a better choice, a dehumidifier of provided but more awkward hanging up clothes around the apartment to dry. A leaflet explaining this would have been helpful just found it in the wardrobe by chance and used it. Worked well enough though. Whilst overall cleanliness was good a few areas need freshening up like the window in the bedroom has peeling paint and the blinds look quite tired and worn. Also a fair few stairs up to the property which can be quite dangerous when it’s raining heavily.
