"We loved staying here and would love to come again the next time we cross the pond!"

10.0

We really liked how accessible it was to downtown Whitby. We were able to use the back stairs to take us directly to the downtown area. Everything was in walking distance. We didn’t realize how close it was to the Abbey! We had paid for parking and probably ended up walking as far as we would have if we had parked at the cottage parking. We loved the hot tub and the fact there was a washer.

The parking was tricky. The street is pretty narrow and it took a minute to realize we had to yank the rod up and lay it down so we could drive over it. It WAS very nice to have parking though!

"75th Birthday Stay"

10.0

The location was amazing. So close to everything. Hot tub was great. Off road parking very welcome as there were never any spaces on the road. Very clean.

Duvet cover was too big for duvet so had overhanging floppy ends. Disappointing rather than not liked that there was no welcome pack as most hosts do do this now and it is a nice touch.

The jacuzzi, the views of the harbour. 2

This is premium cost of stay and 2 of the towels would be relegated to cleaning cloths if I had them. Discoloured, pulls and hard. You can go to asda and get soft fluffy bath sheets for £10. The oven has no markings on it as its all rubbed off so it was trial and error. The lampshade in the bedroom had missing and broken pieces and looked grotty. Outside the back door had a makeshift ashtray that was full of fags and dirty water. I needed a plaster, got a blister from all the walking so looked for a first aid kit. Products in it were outdated 2018. The seating in the jacuzzi balcony are old and 2 chairs are literally on the floor so there's no way you can sit in them. Toilet rolls are the cheapest you can buy so you can use nearly a whole roll. Buy some decent one, this is false economy. Obviously the high cost of the rentals is not having any money going back into it.

Great location 5 minute walk & you're in the centre of town .Amazing views over Whitby, jumping in the hot tub was just what was needed after a day exploring . The bed was super comfy Morning coffee on the balcony over looking town was a great way to start the day And having a parking spot was an added bonus

Nothing really But you do need to take your own towels for the hot tub Don't get caught out like we did , we had to have a quick dash to Sainsbury's just outside of town to buy some before we could use the hot tub It hasn't put us off though we are already booked up to go back at the end of the year
