Central location and spacious, clean property

The location was brilliant. Property was very clean and spacious.

Unfortunately, we were given the wrong key code in our information, so after trying every key box multiple times in the freezing cold, I had to phone Yorguest Ltd for the correct code. They had changed the code on that day, but hadn't informed us! Lack of drawers in main bedroom. Frying pans were well passed their best.

Accommodation was very good and location excellent.

The information we were given about access by car and car parking was totally FALSE! When we booked I indicated that I was a blue badge holder. The apartment was in a vehicle restricted zone and we had to park a fair way away (luckily the blue badge came in handy) and carry our cases etc. The directions for the car park were wrong as the last road indicated was blocked off by bollards and it took Google maps to help us find a way in. The car park was quite some distance from the apartment and it took me considerable effort to walk back to the accommodation.

It was so good, i enjoyed it so much.

But the elevator didn’t work and my apartment was in the second floor it was so hard to get upstairs with the bags.

We liked the location. Very central and the twin beds are comfy. Very clean accommodation. Main bathroom is fine bar the shower, it is interesting trying to have a shower.

This is definitely not a place to try and cook a meal in! Not well stocked with the necessary implements. We got the impression that the owner via Yorguest has been burnt with parties here. The deposit is £250 and gets held in your account as the small print says. Make sure you put the parking card back into the key safe else you will be charged £20 per day. One of my party forgot he had put it in his wallet for safe keeping and had to pay £40! And send it back tracked.
