Parking wasn’t always available

Loved the location. Great decor with everything you need. Very comfortable and clean. Excellent instructions for getting to apartment

The location was fantastic, everything was in a short walking distance. The apartment has all the cutlery, cook utensils and dishes we needed. Using the Alexa within the apartment is a great idea for checking in/out. Or even connecting our phones. Getting into the property was easy as the instructions were clear. Private parking was a huge bonus meaning no worries for carpark fees.

The bed wasn't bad but the pillows were just uncomfortable. I would bring my own ones if I was to stay again. The step into the shower is quite high it would be nice to have a handle as slipping out the shower could cause an injury. The bathroom wasn't cleaned fully, which was the only room that had this issue.

Our 2nd visit to no 1 midland , loved it again , location with parking space is superb , lovely modern apartment , great communications with hosts

Radiator setting in one of the bedrooms was erratic , coming on in the night at 30 degrees and switching off to 7 degrees all day

Liked central position in Ambleside.

Parking was challenging when all parking areas being used. Door from car park seemed fragile and the initial ground floor areas were poor quality although clean and require improvement . Alexa instructions didn’t work- I have Alexa echo at home so used to this. Didn’t accept check in info and we had to use hard copy for job and microwave

Lovely well equipped apartment. Very nice and good quality toiletries. So nice to have tea, coffee & milk on arrival.

With being right in the centre of Ambleside the traffic noise was off putting, especially when the Tesco van deliveries started vey early.
