Good location

Lack of soundproofing - it was very noisy as we were overlooking the main square and on the main road through Ambleside . There was also lots of street lighting immediately outside the bedroom window making the room very light at night . Blackout curtains rather than blinds would have helped to reduce the noise and light .

Bathtub in one of the rooms was amazing. Beds v large and comfortable with good pillows. Good range of stuff in the kitchen. Perfect location.

Not much to say wrong.

Noisy outside due to supermarket very nearby (early morning deliveries) and pub opposite. Also traffic.

Nicely decorated apartment, felt modern and comfy. Great beds and sofa…

Super noisy - but we knew this and bought earplugs and it helped a lot. It was really warm in the apartment.

High spec accommodation. Extremely comfortable beds. Excellent communication with hosts beforehand, really clear information given.

Outside noise - I realise this is beyond your control but we were shattered because of it. Tesco delivery men from every morning, noisily unloading van for over hour and a half. Second night - Emergency road works using pneumatic drills and earth movers outside The Vault opposite the flat. started at 10pm - didn’t finish until 3am. Then yesterday morning two men on a deafening noisy hydraulic lift fixing goodness knows what at the ridiculous hour of 5.30am.
