The Wee Highland Coo

The place was really comfortable, very clean, and a excellent location- especially with two cafes and a tea house across the street.

Couldn't get the shower to work. It was really big and clean but I couldn't get it from boiling or freezing! Took a while to figure out that you needed to turn off the bathroom light as the extractor fan can be a bit noisy.

Location was very good, close to the castle and many bars and restaurants. Bed in main room was very comfortable and plenty wardrobe space.Overall we enjoyed our stay very much and would stay again

It did take us a little while to find it. Google maps had us right in the area but there is no actual sign saying Wee Highland Coo outside property. Sofa/bed in sitting room area could do with replacing as it has become pretty sunken in. Also my daughter who was sleeping on sofa bed complained of sound of dripping and sounds from water tank during the night. She checked the taps in kitchen and bathroom and they were all off. That would really be our only complaints

- great communication - great location - clean apartment - good size and had all the equipment for cooking - cannot complain

- it does have a noise here and there from the boiler but that can be fixed easily

The hot water service to the apartment. After exploring Edinburgh on a very cold winters day it would have been really nice to have a hot shower. The shower was luke warm. We needed to boil the jug to wash the dishes.
