The Wee Highland Coo

The WHC is located in a very good spot. You can get to the Old Centre in just a short walk. Across the street there is very nice a place you can have breakfast. The apartment is tiny and very cosy. The supermarket is closeby.

This place is good for two people. Avoid sleeping on the 'bed' in the livingroom. Its not comfortable at all. Let alone the noise in the livingroom coming from the water installation probably and the air ventilation is rattling all night whenever it's windy. Also someone visited us, without contacting us first. Which we found a little odd. Seeing the person let herself in. My son was home and was somewhat startled. I did not like the fact that if we weren't home someone would have entered our stay. You want to feel safe.

Instruction given for entry were excellent, precise, clear and easy to follow. Flat had large clean rooms. Milk was in the fridge and the bed and duvet were so comfortable. Flat was in perfect location for our stay.

Entry light and light above the key box were unlit. Couch was not so comfy.

Great location, quite during night.

No lift, long stairs. Not clean enough, we even found some dried grass on the bed. Very noisy boiler in the living room, and no hot water in the kitchen. Not worth the money

Location was great within walking distance for the Green Market, Edinburgh Castle, The Royal Mile & plenty of coffee shops. A supermarket was just down the street. Our host was great!

The apartment was in the 3rd floor.
