Spacious apartment in the centre of the delightful village of Corsham. Very quiet and close to supermarket and bakery.

Would have liked a couple of coffee pods for the machine. Hair dryer didn’t work.

Lovely location, relaxing. Well equipped apartment but a bit tired around the edges.

It was near to where I was working at Badminton

The mattress was a little soft and slid off the one underneath. The peacocks were very noisy and wished I’d known about them before I travelled. I feel the property needs a bit of TLC from when you walk in to collect your keys, to the hallway and apartment door.

Location

It's shabby at best. The settee is uncomfortable. The hot water pressure is woeful. Half the pots don't suit the hob. No little touches like condiments which are essential for self catering. Couldn't find a dust pan and brush for the little spills. This place has huge potential. It's a shame it doesn't live up to the location.

My experience over a two-night stay fell disappointingly short of these expectations, particularly in areas crucial to guest comfort and satisfaction. The most glaring issue was the cleanliness, or rather, the lack thereof. For a property that boasts such historical and aesthetic appeal, the lack of attention to cleanliness significantly marred the overall experience. The floors and surfaces appeared neglected, with dust and debris undermining the apartment's otherwise charming character. The state of the bathroom further compounded the issue. The towels provided can only be described as horrible—worn, discolored, and far from the level of quality one would expect. The bath, despite featuring an overhead shower and being lined with natural stone tiles, was let down by poor maintenance, detracting significantly from what could have been a luxurious bathing experience. A good nights sleep is an essential component of any accommodation, it was severely compromised by the condition of the bed. Described as a double, it was, in reality, lumpy and uncomfortable, and the sheets were awlful.

Where to start the entrance once inside was dark and very tired looking needed a good clean the beautiful staircase up to the apartment was left uncared for there was a light but it turned off much to soon to allow me to get up the stairs the key went into the door but would not come out needed to use wd40 Once inside the tired look of downstairs continued the bed felt damp but I think it was just cold I had a bath but only tepid so needed to boil kettle several times once in the bath joined by several dark hair so swiftly got out again a lot of cleaning sponges behind the basin shame they had not cleaned the bath hairs The tv did not work phoned the host she said it was the Ariel ? Cables from the TV and electric fire unsightly all of this was attention to detail the sash windows were all in need of painting the settee was old and saggie to sit on there was mis match of furniture what is a loverly building was left looking tired and uncared for

The location is amazing. Ideal for Christmas break. The accommodation is a good size. The bed and duvet were really comfy. The accommodation was warm and there were heating top up options.

* The TV pixilated because of poor signal. *The fridge is old so no ice option. *The hot water is intermittent in flow. *The furnishings are threadbare and the upholstery torn and not clean. *The TV was set on the 720 adult channels. * the oven was not clean. Lots of old crumbs and detritus in door. Washing up bowl really dirty.
