Apartamento práctico con todas las facilidades.

A pesar de situarse en una zona céntrica de la ciudad los alrededores estaban descuidados y no ofrecían una sensación de total seguridad. La bañera del baño grande no tragaba bien y se inundaba en cada ducha.

Cozy and clean. Walkable distance to the royal mile. The kitchen is fully equipped, even with a large refrigerator.

The smell of smoking in the bathrooms. We noticed it right away but it was worse in the evenings and so bad at times that our kids didn’t want to brush their teeth or use the toilet. Shutting the door and opening windows wasn’t enough. Since the master bed is just a few feet from the bathroom, nights were difficult and my wife chose to sleep downstairs on the couch with our child on several nights. We contacted the owner the first morning who brought an ozone machine, but we couldn’t be in the apartment during its use because of health concerns. It was only a temporary solution. Further requests from the owners led to vague responses (would talk to the neighbors who share the vents, would block the vents) but it never led to any action. We filed a formal complaint with booking but because we never requested to leave (we were trying to give the owner time and opportunity to fix it) there was no recourse or financial compensation. Previous reviews were negative regarding the outside of the facility which was accurate—perhaps should have clued us into problems with the neighborhood and choice of preferred drug preferences. We felt that the “smoking free” chosen option in booking was misleading, to say the least.

The flat is clean and well equipped

The flat is on the third floor and no lift we had climb the stairs twice a day .the building is old but the flat inside is neat

Evin konumu merkeze yakınlığı çok güzeldi. Tren garından eve yürümemiz 15 dk sürdü. 4 kişi ailece çok rahat bir 4 gün geçirdik. Şehrin gezilebilecek her yerine yürüyerek çok rahat bir şekilde gidebildik. Evin içi gayet güzel, temiz ve konforluydu. Ev sahibi ile iletişimde bir sorun yaşamadık. Bulaşık ve çamaşır deterjanı olması güzeldi.

Apartman merdivenlerinin temizliği biraz can sıkıcıydı. Ev birinci katta olmasına rağmen 2 kat merdiven çıkmanız gerekiyor, asansör olmadığını için valizler ile eve giriş ve çıkışta biraz zorluk yaşayabiliyorsunuz.

The place was really close to all the main attractions, including the Holyrood Palace. It was easy to find. Inside was well- decorated and the bed linens and towels were comfortable. We enjoyed the space and the neighbors were lovely.

There was a continual smell of stale cigarette smoke coming from the vents in the bathrooms - it made the upstairs rooms stink if the doors were mistakenly left open. Our children were unable to sleep upstairs because of it. Also, the building only had one marked stairway exit and no alternative fire route. This was a serious concern and should be noted upon booking.

Wonderful place to stay! Clean, quiet and comfortable. Great location!

Low water pressure, but that’s being super picky!

A real home from home, beautiful property, amazing location, host really helpful and responsive

The host is transparent about the appearance of the exterior of the building so there were no surprises there, it was as expected, read the description and info from the host and it'll be exactly as expected, but is fabulous once you go inside. And the neighbours we encountered were welcoming and helpful.
