Holyrood New Apartment

Prime location, a few steps away from the Royal Mile and Cowgate. The place itself is squeaky clean, very well decorated, has all the appliances and comfort you’d want. Set in a very calm apartment complex as well, with a nice view upon Arthur’s Seat out the back. A pleasant stay, highly recommend!

Outside the apartment, the building itself doesn’t feel like the most welcoming. However it’s not unsafe or noisy, and the appearance of the building isn’t the owner’s fault.

The property was clean and for the money a very good size. Neighbors were friendly as well. The property location is near the Royal Mile and many things to do within walking distance.

The outside of the property is run down and not in excellent condition, the flat itself is very nice, updated and clean. The stairs are kind of a pain if you have a lot of luggage, but it is doabel.

The location (end the end of the royal mile near Arthurs' seat) was great. Going to the city centre with its attractions was walkable. The inside of the appartment was perfect and very quiet (also at night): two bedrooms which each a separate bathroom on separate floor from the full kitchen and large living room. Very friendly host who responsed very quickly on my questions.

The looks of the outside of the appartment building was not that great (but the side was!)

The location of the property is very close to historical old town. As mentioned old comments, the interior of the building was out dated but it was not a problem I think. The neighbors are also friendly. The interior of the house was newly renovated and you may find all appliances you need. Also, host were very friendly and responsive to messages.

The place was very clean and the location was right near the heart of the tourist zone in Edinburgh.

The apartment could use some more living room furniture. Two keys would be great.

Very comfortable beds ,two bathrooms ,two smart tv’s ,well equipped kitchen if you wanted to cook, washer / dryer free car parking two min walk away, very easy to locate information about accommodation very good , location brilliant 😊

I have to say nothing

To start we had trouble obtaining the address & key code from booking .com. There was no one on site to help Called the help line and kept getting a recording. Eventually 2 hrs later we received the info. On arrival we were greeted by rubbish at the front door Foyer was filthy also the stair wells. Plus stench was bad. 6 flights of stairs ( no warning of this on web ) Then another set inside unit up to bedrooms. The unit itself was clean. The washing machine was a combined washer / dryer 4 hrs later clothes not dry Also we were told not to use it at night because neighbour complains about the noise. The apartment is within walking distance to everything but the actually neighbourhood is not great.

Beds were comfortable. Very clean

No outlets in bathrooms. When using the hairblowers in the bedrooms, there were no mirrors to see yourself. The kettle leaks. The extra bedroom should have a railing to hang clothes.
