"Nice stay but no clean sheets for sofa bed on first night"

Great area! Lovely little village close by to York and Helmsley. The pub across the road was lovely and looked beautiful lit up at Christmas. Cosy little cottage that had everything you need for a short stay.

Booked for 3 people but no bedding available for the sofa bed. Arrived quite late after work so looking everywhere for it to no avail and too late for owners to respond to messages. My daughter had to sleep with with quilt and pillows and on mattress with no sheets which was unhygienic.

"Lovely 2 night stay, exactly what we needed after Christmas and before returning to work."

Loved the location, such a picture perfect cottage. Really enjoyed our short break, even better that we could bring our dog with us. Had a question regards hearing and the owners were very efficient in responding.

Property felt homely. It was clean, well equipped and cosy. My children loved it as did I. Parking was at nearby street but it was so close to the cottage it wasn’t an issue. I would visit again 100%
